2025 Summer Junior Programme

Preparation for the new season are well underway and we are very much hoping see regulars and newcomers back at Chippenham this summer. We will once again be running weekly sessions on a Monday evening for children age 5 years upwards and a full league programme for children in school years 3 and above.

If you are new to cricket or the club, all newcomers get two free taster sessions to see if they like the club and want to keep coming. We do need to registerer newcomers though before their first session, so please ask them to email the club at cricketchippenham@gmail.com, so we can organise getting them booked in. Here is a summary of the Summer Programme for 2025.

1. As Easter is late this year we are running the following sessions during the Easter Holidays for boys and girls school years 5 and above:

   i) U11s hardball training at the ground during the Easter Holidays on Tuesday 8th and 15th April between 10am-11.30am.

   ii) U13s hardball training at the ground during the Easter Holidays on Thursday 17th April between 10am-1pm

   iii) U15s hardball training at the ground during the Easter Holidays on Tuesday 8th and 15th April between 11.30am-1pm. start to Monday night summer training is later than usual and the first session will be on the first Monday after Easter on 28th April. This will then run every Monday until 18th August (17 weeks in total).

2. The U13s girls only hardball weekly training restarts on Thursday before (24th April)

   
   

3. The Summer Monday night sessions restart on the first Monday after Easter, which is 28th April and run every Monday (including bank holidays) until August 18th (boys and Girls sessions) . School years 1-6 is at 6.15pm, school years 7-8 at 6.30pm and school years 10-11 at 6.45pm.
