HOW TO MAKE YOURSELF AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION

At Chippenham Cricket Club our aim is to provide as much cricket as we can for you and other members. By letting us know your availability you are not only ensuring you will play as much cricket as possible but also your fellow members can as well. This is because it allows us to plan the sides in good time and manage selection so the amount of people playing is maximised.

Please also note the following;

Making yourself available does not guarantee your selection. Final teams for weekend games are finalised on a Monday evening before matches and confirmed Tuesday lunchtime by email.
We recognise and understand that some players may not be able to confirm their availability too far in advance. That is fine but by clicking the ‘unsure’ option it helps us to know you would like to play on that date and possibly could, but need to confirm nearer the time.
Knowing dates you are definitely not available is also very helpful to know because it helps us establish problem weeks and take proactive active to ensure all sides are able to field teams.
